8 - I want to hold your hand

Dearest MJ,

Another week's past,
Another week's begun.
Weekends are always best,
While Mondays are no fun.

I look to you this day and next
In hopes you'll hear my call.
So that I might receive a text
Or a message on my wall.

When i'm with you I rejoice,
Though my heart begins to race.
Whether it's the tranquility of your voice
Or that smile upon your face.

For me the choice is simplistic
Although you may not understand,
It's your personality, and characteristic...
That makes me want to hold your hand.

The urge suddenly came over me...
So i thought i'd write this out.
It's beautiful what we can say & see
When our feelings come about.
